9-12-20 - The day and evening before we left.  Blue skies when we got up and nothing and then all hell broke loose.  We had big plumes of smoke and bombers flying over.  Took some pictures from the meadow, got a better view of the plume.  Took some pictures of the place to remember........

These were taken in the evening on 9-11-20.  The bombers were flying all of a sudden, hadn't seen them for days.  We had 1 big prop plane and 1 jet plane.  2 spotters, 1 that was smaller and flew up high and 1 faster and bigger flew low.  In 1 picture you will see the planes coming toward us and the spotter plane is getting in from of the bomber to bring him into drop.  It was pretty exciting watching.

These were taken on 9-7-20 in the afternoon.  Another flare up to the north.  Died down last night.

These pictures were taken on the evening of 9-6-20.  All was quiet today and no flying or dumping of anything , just a spotter every once in a while.  Something must have happened, Even our fire guys that came home were taking pictures.  We are still here this morning, we shall see what happens today.  They didn't have our guys use any of their retardant yesterday?????  And we heard that it has broken the lines and gone into Freeman Grove.

Here are some pictures I took yesterday 9-5-20 of the bombers going over and the fire that got away from the forest service.  Today per our fire guys should be a "Shit Show"  We are to watch the ridge and that's where the flames will be coming if they don't stop it.  We are going to move a thousand gallon tank closer and fill it with water up on the hill and have a gravity flow.  The guys are going to see if they can bring their 3,000 gal. water truck home tonight to have here.  Will be in touch.

This morning out our window looking at Needle Rock Ridge, can't even see it. 9-5-20

These pictures are from August when the Castle fire 1st started.
