2010 Seasonal pictures
The meadow begins to finally thaw in May
These are pictures of the meadow June 2010, full of Shooting Stars (flowers)
This is Donnie Moll, he is are soon to become neighbor. Donnie is a very up and coming artist and plans to build a small studio up here. He owns a lot by us and is clearing it and asked if Boz would help him get it ready and cleared. They thought this was a rotten old stump, NOT SO, 2 days later they finally got it out. Then a month or so later John went up to his lot and leveled and cleared a building place for his studio.
You will notice that if you look at the pictures in the different times of year, you will see the same shot but how different it looks with the changing of the season. There is beauty in every season up here.
September 2010 - The Aspens are starting to turn:
October 2010 - The Aspens are really turning:will have more to come.
November 2010 - to be uploaded later
December 2010 - What a snowfall we had. These 1st pictures are of the week before Christmas when I decide to venture out and go to the mail room which is about 1 1/2 miles from our place, it is located across from the Ponderosa Lodge. There were trees falling everywhere and even across the roads, which I drove under and then had to go back under them on the way back and there trees down where there hadn't been when I drove by a couple of minutes before. I think you would call this a DUH! Blue hair moment for me. We were with out power for quite a few days during the holidays and they are still working on it getting it restored everywhere and this is the 2nd week of January.
Pictures of and around our place the week before Christmas -
These pictures were taken a week later just after Christmas when the boys were going to leave on Weds 29ths 2010 - The 1st are of their car ? is it really there? Bill and I shovel the snow off the car so, Papa John can get his Bobcat and blower out to clear the way. And of course there are a few pictues of the dogs.
These were taken a couple of days later from our upstairs, what a difference a couple of days later, and removing the snow.
