JANUARY STORM 2017

John has been blowing snow everyday for the last 10 days.  Sometimes 4 hours and sometimes up to 7 hours.  This is 1-23-17, after very wet snow on the 22nd he only could make a pass to the garage doors and our to the street so we could get out.  It was up to 38 degrees and very, very wet snow.  So on the 23rd with almost 2 feet of snow and more in some places with the drifts he started.  It took him 4 hours and then came in for lunch and we went down to the c-train and filled the Kabota with wood, it had snowed another 6 inches.  Sooooo he went back out and blew again. 

   Picture from our bedroom window.   Below he gets the bobcat out and starts to blow.                                                      After blowing he has to start blowing the snow at the top and work down to get it all blown out of the way.             This is John going down to the wood c-train, it is snowing faster than he can blow.             Our front door and the c-train with my garden.  I don't think a green house would make it.   1st pass so we can get out our front doow and then after he blows and I shovel the snow away from the door so he can blow it on out.    he garden c-train, took this picture out the window from the landing on our stairs.       Mo is wondering why he wanted to come out in this.

For those who didn't hear about our pipe breaking in the little cabin in the attic over the bathroom while we were gone at Christmas, here are a few pictures of what else we are dealing with.  We had 2 to 4 inches of water throughout the cabin.
