Oct 31, 2020, Saturday.  Thought today would be pretty quiet but that wasn't the case.  A lot of activity, putting together more poles and trucks and equipment being serviced.  Then we hear the helicopter, we thought they weren't going to fly today but we were wrong.

The helicopter came in and he landed in the meadow.  That was pretty exciting.  The pilot (Michael) got out walked around looking over the landing site.  He put a couple of boxes in different places and also a ladder that I later learned they used to get to their motor and the top part of the helicopter.                       He then took off and went over and picked up a bag of rock and then flew back and got another pole      The helicopter fuel truck arrived and waited for the helicopter to return, he came back in and landed and refueled.                     He took off again and flew another bag and then another pole, when he returned he had a burned pole and flew right over the dumpster for those and drop it inside.           The pilot Michael came up and introduced himself and said if I wanted to get a closer picture to come on out.  So of course I took him up on that.  This is a Huey helicopter 1965, it was a gun machine in Vietnam.  It is worth 2 million dollars and they have 2 of them and 2 other types.  This company is from Salmon Idaho.  Also just wanted to mention that Michael was very cute.                  They refueled one more time and then airlifted an air compressor down where they were setting poles.  I takes him 20 minutes to fly back down to portervillle airport for the night and it takes DJ 2 1/2 hours to drive back down.
