Subject: bareback, love it!
Hey guys,
After years of enjoying my saddle kit, I wanted to try out the bareback. I didn't buy the bareback from you guys, I bought it from ebay due to limited funds right now. Anyhow, I took my arab mare to south mnts state park for a trial ride this past saturday. Let me first mention a few things. I am not one of those people who was "born in the saddle". I bought my first horse in my 20s and I have since struggled with a weak diagonal and having to work at being "straight" on the horses back. I have also suffered from knee pain every time I ride. My boz swell fork saddle is by far the most comfortable saddle I have ever owned. I had planned an easy 8 mile ride to try out the bareback saddle. The easy 8 miles turned into 17 miles in under 4 hours in mountainous terrian. I also have not ridden in the last 4 months or so. My knees never hurt not once. I quickly found my balance and was trotting and cantering up and down hills. I found the saddle very secure, and amazingly comfortable. Over the years I have tried taking lessons from different instructors to help me identify where I am crooked and stiff which I'm sure is the source of not being able to pick up one diagonal. I made more progress in my one ride than I have in the past 10 years.
I do plan on purchasing the cantle to go with it, as well as the control package. On Jan 1, 2014 11:53 AM, "Boz" <boz@bozsaddlery.com> wrote:
Thank you so much, what a way to start out our year. Could we use your email as a testimonial on our website? The cantle is a nice addition to the bareback. Thank you again for your kind words. Ann and Boz
Absolutely. I tell everyone who asks to just buy a boz saddle and not have worry about fit anymore. I have tried sooo many saddles and yours is by far the best!
